Shelterbelt Health is a nurse-led eldercare group. Our team includes registered Nurses, certified Aging Life Professionals, and mental health specialists, who have worked with elders for many years. We are spouses, daughters and sons of older adults, all dedicated to protecting the health and happiness of the aging population.
We provide all families with the highest degree of confidentially possible. We are compliant with HIPPA rules and regulations. We understand what protected health information is and when it can be shared.
A shelterbelt is a barrier of trees planted to provide protection from strong winds and storms. Shelterbelt Health was established with the same core value of protection guiding our every step. Safety continues to be an issue in providing eldercare. Too often we hear of an older adult being harmed or taken advantage of.
